Continuing the Lotus Cortina Rebuild

Work is going ok despite the cold weather and the front suspension is now going on. I had to use some wood blocks to raise it up under the wing as holding it with one hand and putting a bolt on proved too heavy going!!! Having got the legs on the steering fitted nicely to the repaired steering box and I just await a fresh anti-roll bar as the one on was beyond it and it is a critical part of the suspension (it sets the position of the strut and holds it all together!!

I have roughly set the steering track rod ends and will wait until it is back on the ground before attempting to set tracking etc, so the steering clamps are only just nipped up for now. I will then have to go round and tighten everything up properly to the subframe and get the split ipns fitted to those nuts that need one.
