Drax Church

To help people understand the overview of the history this video has been produced to give visitors insight into the local area.

The producer Guy Schofield is part of York University but also working freelance as Overcliff Media which is who we’ve commissioned for this work from. It was kindly funded by Selby District Council Cllr Mike Jordan, and organised through the Drax social committee. Those involved in the film include local historian John Hunter, and history enthusiasts Helen Brownbridge and Fergus Kelly. Our next project is to install a device on which people can watch the film in church and then add different videos to this over time.
