Well the Mk1 is coming along nicely. Interior trim is more or less cleaned/repainted as needed. The car is currently at the sellers workshop but is coming ‘home’ this week on a trailer so I can start working on it properly. It still has a lot of its parts but some have been sold over the years whilst in storage. All welding work is done so I can concentrate on the interior/ suspension / brakes etc.
This is going to take 2 or 3 years to sort depending on time and finding the parts that are missing but it keeps me out of mischief for the time being!!
The photo shows a number of parts of which the exhaust manifold is unique to this type of car.
As regards ‘type’ a Mk1 Lotus Cortina is, from the company Lotus, a type 28.
