Just a little bit of progress as I am waiting for parts to arrive. So a little bit of work has been done on one of my other cars, namely MRO or Mr Orange as I know him. I have an issue with the door hinges which have been re-engineered now and all back on the car. Whilst at it I have also checked the tappet clearances on the engine and just needed to creat a bit of a gap on an inlet valve. No dramas.
Back with the Lotus I have received a water temp guage which just needs a refurb as it has lost its tube contents (Di-Ethyl Ether usually) so that will have to be sent off for repair.
