The Eastern Green Link 2 project brings a cable full of electricity from up in Scotland to a Convertor Station at the side of Drax Power Station. It is a huge project costing in the billions.
To this end and because of the disruption etc they are providing funds for local communities with:
Up to £20k towards capitol projects
Up to £10k for more general community projects.
Applications will be looked at by a panel 4 times a year and the first round is open now. Folow the link:
